Bi-monthly Education Events

Clay-Platte Family offers free nutritional classes the first and third Thursday of every month. The hour-long classes are conveniently scheduled at 5:30 pm to accommodate working patients.  The sessions are presented in power-point form and suggest strategies and techniques patients can use to improve their nutritional status.  We encourage patients to discuss personal experiences related to the presentation topic. Topics include:

  • Get the Scoop on Sugar
  • Losing the Weight in 2008
  • Love Your Heart

To secure your spot in one of the classes, call Lindsey Coffman at (816) 842-4440 ext. 167 or e-mail her at lcoffman@clayplattefamily.com. You can also sign up at the check-out desk during your next office visit. You can also view the Clay Platte Family Medicine Calendar Of Events by clicking here.
