I practice in the full range of family medicine but have a special interest in pediatric, adolescent and women’s health.

Personal Information
I was born and raised on a farm in mid-Missouri, one of 12 children. As a nurse I have traveled all over the United States working in critical care and then labor and delivery prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. I have practiced for the last 9 years as a nurse practitioner in Kansas and Missouri. My personal time is spent around my three children and their activities. My oldest, David, will be a freshman in the fall at Rockhurst High School and loves baseball and football. My daughter, Amanda, attends St Therese and is beautiful dancer. My youngest, Josef, is a first grader at St Therese and is his brother and sister’s biggest fan.

Education:
Undergraduate - Bachelors of Nursing-University of Missouri-Columbia, 1987.
Medical Education - Masters of Science in Nursing-University of Missouri-Kansas City, 1999.
